This is one of our favourite spots during weekends. When we feel bored at home, we just grab our laptops and head over to the OldTown White Coffee restaurant at Kelana Mall. Its located at the corner lot of shophouses, right next to Kelana Jaya’s Giant Hypermarket.
What we like so much about this shop is the corner location. The place is windy and its very comfortable for you to sit there while surfing on the internet. This place offers FREE WIFI service. The internet connection here is pretty good and reliable. This restaurant is constantly full of patrons.

PP’s favourite drink at this shop is their coffee, no doubt! If we’re here for long, he’ll normally order two drinks, the Nanyang Memorably and also the original and best OldTown White Coffee. As for me, my favourite is still their ice lemon tea. I cannot find any other that is rich in flavour as theirs. Can even order two glasses of it when I’m there.

As for their food, they serve varieties of rice and noodle dishes. We like the mee rebus very much. Its comes with loads of ingredients and has a little taste of sweetness. PP’s favourite snack is their glutinous rice with kaya. With their delicious food and great service, its worth coming over for a try.

Looking at PP’s post about the bbq pork rice at damansara heights really makes me drool. As you know I’m a fan of sweetness, hence I happened to like bbq pork (char siew) too. KC told us before that there’s this very nice char siew rice near his working place at Hicom Glenmarie Industrial Park Shah Alam. The restaurant is called Meng Kee Char Siew. It seems to be that this is a branch of the famous Meng Kee at Jalan Tengkat Tong Shin.

So, last Saturday morning, I finally asked PP to go there and try it out. To get to that restaurant, you will have to drive through Glenmarie until you reach the Shell petrol station. At there, you will have to take the first left turn and go straight after that. Take a right at Jalan Pekedai and drive all the way down. The shop is located on your right side.
We went there quite early so its still breakfast time. They only serve wan tan noodles for breakfast. You’ll need to wait for lunch hour if you would like to eat rice instead. We’ve ordered two plates of wan tan noodle, char siew for 2 pax and roasted chicken for 2 pax. Roasted chicken was served first. PP found that the sauce for the chicken is salty. The wan tan noodle is good. The noodle is not too soft, and the sauce is just right, not too salty.

The best part is its char siew. Char siew is not overly sweet and its not too charred either. The meat is tender and the outer layer is sticky. Wow. One thing that I think would make it more perfect is if only they can slice the char siew thinner. We also do order two glasses of longan, winter melon drink. Its nice, very rich in taste and sweetness. Some other food that they serve are the steam chicken and vegetable. Do come and try if you’re at this area.
