We’ve previously blogged about this place and PP introduced their loh mee. Click here to see the post. Now we’re here to try out their curry noodles. When we’re there, we saw our website being posted on their stall. This kind patron, and kind visitor of our lessthanten blog that printed out the page for the shop owner. Thanks a lot. The shop owner then found out that we’re the bloggers and gave us extra pieces of prawns for the curry noodle.
So sweet.
This shop’s curry noodle is the authentic penang curry noodle type that we like. The watery gravy is not too thick with santan. The noodle comes with dry bean curd, cuttlefish, prawns, clams, mint leaves and also bean sprouts. They’ve also prepared a bowl of chilli paste on each of the table. You’ll be free to add in the amount of chilli that you prefer.

Once again, we would like to introduce what the shop sells everyday. They only serve a type of noodle each day. Please refer to the below table.

To those whom likes chicken rice ball, you can now eat it in PJ area. Its been kind of difficult for PP and I to get this kind of chicken rice at KL. You guys have any other places to suggest? While PP and I were searching for that famous char siew at Sunway Mas, we came across this shop that sells malacca chicken rice. This restaurant is called, My Kitchen. They sell lots of food, most of them are famous malacca dishes.
This shop also sells the famous malacca hainanese mutton soup. We’ve ordered a quater of steam chicken and a plate of stir fry brinjal to go with the chicken rice balls. These are the mini rice balls, they’re as big as a 50 cents coin. Cute.

Food quality, I’ll say that the taste is only ordinary. The chicken rice ball is nice, just like the one in malacca. But for the steam chicken and brinjal, its not that particularly special. The food here is kind of pricy. See, I can’t even mention the quarter steam chicken in my food pricing section, hehe its more than ten.

Oh, and their drinks, haha. PP actually ordered a homemade pineapple juice. It looks and tastes like those canned pineapple drinks. Hmm.. we’re thinking of asking more people to go there again one day, only then we can try out more dishes from that shop. Then, we’ll post again to tell if this shop is worth visiting. Stay tuned!

We went to Prince Cafe at SS2, PJ for our dinner tonight. After the 1st try last month, I have hooked by their sliced beef with shanghai style vegetable rice. The style of the rice is similar to the Wax Meat & Vegetable Rice from wong kok char chan teng but instead of wax meat, they are using deep fried thin sliced beef. The beef is very tasty and a bit crunchy, the rice serves with sweet, but not too salty soy sauce, some steam vegetables, green beans and corns. They also give you extra sauce just in case you prefer stronger flavor.

On the other hand, yAuyAu ordered her favorite - nissin noodle with hot & spicy pork dices. The taste of the soup of the noodle is so so, just like normal nisson noodle soup that you can get it in any hong kong style restaurant. I usually don’t like this especially the hot & spicy pork dices, too salty for me.

As for the starter and drink, we ordered a borsch soup and a cold yin yong to share. In our opinion, kim gary’s borsch soup is nicer and the yin yong from kluang station is still the best. Other than nice foods and drinks, they also providing free WIFI (key is 78743996) so you can enjoy your meal and surfing at the same time.
