I’m a happy customer of Streamyx. Rarely had any downtime lately. I’m able to blog more often now.
OK.. back to what I want to introduce… Me, my ex colleagues and my current colleagues are all big fans of this keropok stall at Pusat Bandar Damansara.

This stall will only be available during the Wednesday morning market. They have all sorts of keropok or we called it crackers in english. It ranges from tapioca to banana. Flavors are like BBQ, pepper, sticky sweet and spicy, dry and spicy and lots more.
The crackers comes in two sizes, small and large. Its very affordable. At times when I’m super addicted, I will just draw out my RM10 and carry home four small packs with different flavors. This is a must try if you’re at around this area on Wednesday mornings.

Old Town used to be our favorite. But now, we have a new kopitiam that we would frequent to. Its Papa Rich. This kopitiam is all the hype nowadays, with its very cool interior decor of black color. Most of its kopitiam is located at a corner lot, hence making it spacious.

Papa Rich serves all the usual stuffs that OT has, and has many other food varieties to choose from. PP and I have ordered a curry noodle, dry curry chicken noodle and a thick toast with condensed milk to share with.
Both the dry and soup curry noodles comes with bean sprouts, mint leaves, dried beancurd and fried bean curd sheets. My dry noodles came with a bowl of soup. The soup’s flavor is so intense, its the same soup base that they use for their Ipoh kuey teow. I know what I’m gonna try the next time.
PP’s curry noodles also has fresh clams. We both liked PP’s curry noodles better than the dry one. The gravy/soup was very intense with flavor, its thick with coconut milk, authentic Nyonya curry.

We also liked their thick toast with condensed milk. The sweetness just makes our day. So far, we’ve been to two Papa Rich outlets. One of them is at Kelana Jaya and the other at Damasara Utama. Both outlet’s food is with quality. Normally franchise outlet’s food quality differ from one to the other. Be sure that you know where to go for nice and good food!

Alex introduced us to this new eatery place at Cheras. This shop is famous for their beef noodles. PP went with them for lunch once before I joined this company. Luckily they’re quite fond of that place and we’ve decided to go there again on one Friday’s lunch.

Upon reaching the shop, you will see a huge poster of beef noodles. Entering the shop, you’ll see their whole range of dishes on the wall. They serve all sorts of noodles, from curry to clear soup and dry type. Apart from that there’s varieties of drinks too choose from as well.

PP ordered a dry beef noodle while I ordered a soup noodle with steam chicken. What I like in this shop is that they also serve steamboat ingredients. I think their specialty is the stuffed beef balls. You may choose to add them to your bowl of soup noodles. I’ve ordered a few pieces of seafood tou fu for my noodles.
I like PP’s bowl of beef noodles. According to PP, the noodle tastes better in soup instead of dry. The beef are thinly sliced. In the bowl of soup, there’s carrot, beef stomach and beef balls. The soup tastes real nice. Rich in flavor, don’t think there’s MSG in it because we don’t feel thirsty after the meal.
I think my noodles are also cooked with the beef stock. Taking the noodles alone is good enough for me. We don’t quite like their steam chicken however. Its a little tough and the soy sauce is a little on the salty side. The noodle soup that I’ve ordered is the Ipoh style. It also comes with a plate of beansprouts.

Visit this shop if you’re at Cheras area. I think you won’t live to regret it. Also, if you would like to get ingredients for steamboat, you can visit them. Don’t miss out their beef balls, especially those stuffed ones. Next time I’m gonna try that one with the spicy fillings in it.
