A friend introduced us to this place. He said that the wan tan noodles here taste closest to those in Muar. PP and I decided to go for our first attempt.
Well, to our satisfactory, it does taste like those in Muar. At least it doesn’t come with those soy sauce taste. One thing that I’m not quite satisfied is their noodle is not cooked properly. Some parts of their noodle is still springy and hard. Their version of the wan tan noodle is more on the dry side.
I think if they cook this noodle softer with a bit more sauce it’ll be as perfect as Muar’s wan tan noodles. Hehe. Anyway, the plate of dry wan tan noodle comes with char siew, vegetables and a small bowl of soup with some wan tan in it.

Hmm.. I wonder, do they sell those red type of wan tan noodles here in KL? This type of noodle is somehow mixed with ketchup and chilli and it has chicken meat flosses. This is the best! Only get to eat this when we go back to Muar again.. Yum, makes me drool by even thinking and blogging about it.

there’s one pontian wan tan mee just nearby salmon steak in ss15 that’s nearest to what we get in johor, with chilli sauce and all. Alternatively, try edmund’s new shop in kota kemuning.
