We just bought faux wood blinds for our kitchen and study room. We kind of like it. The wood color is in oak color and it really block 100% of the sun light when you close it up. The installation is easy, we bought it from store and installed it ourselves. It doesn’t required too much hard work. What you need is just keep the existing railing and just clip the hood on the existing rail, that’s it. Simple and easy.
Wong Kok is one of the early days Hong Kong style restaurant in Malaysia. At a point of time, this restaurant is very competitive with Kim Gary. We do have some of our favorites there, waxed meat rice and their fried nissin noodle with pork in cubes.
This time round however, we’ll introduce some of their new dish. PP had chosen their mantis shrimp vegetable rice while I had chosen the XO fried nissin noodle. The mantis shrimp rice tastes just so-so. It’s shrimp wasn’t the meaty type, biting into it, you can only taste all the MSG flour covered prawn. I doubt that there’s much of prawn meat in it.

As for my XO fried nissin noodle, I don’t think I’m gonna order it again. Honestly, I don’t really know what a good XO sauce tastes like. After tasting this XO noodle for the first time, it makes me wonder why KC likes XO fried rice that much. In my opinion, this XO sauce is no difference from the normal oyster hoi sin sauce, only on the spicy side. My plate of noodle is too huge, it makes me feel full after seeing it.
I don’t really like this restaurant now. I still felt that Kim Gary has better food that can match our taste bud. Even though Wong Kok has a menu with a lot of varieties to choose from, sadly I couldn’t find one good food that makes me want to go back there and eat again.

Our condo’s swimming poo looks green from afar. Its must be very in a very bad condition. We can even see that notices are being put up at the bulletin board to inform us about the condition of the swimming pool. I think this would be a good time to introduce the management board some very good swimming pool supplies. Getting better supplies should help them clean the pool better.
