I have this craving for wan tan mee lately. It started when I came across this blogger’s post about Pontian’s wan tan noodles. Goodness, it reminds me of my hometown, Muar. It has all the best wan tan noodles there. I’m sure all Muarians would agree with me.
KL’s wan tan noodles is all the black soy sauce type. One of my ex colleague introduced us to Restoran Okay at Chow Yang, SS2. This stall has been in the restaurant for quite some time. We’ve tried this for the past few times and found it to be quite OK, compared to the other stalls at KL.

Hence with the craving, we’ve headed to this wan tan noodle stall again. But, to our disappointment, the uncle that usually cooks the noodle was not there. It is now operated by his children. There really is a difference, as the noodle seems to taste differently. Its not that fragrant and rich in flavor anymore. Its char siew looks pale and dry. This is tasteless as well. Its wan tan is soaked too long in the soup and the skin starts to get slimy. Yikes, seems that we need to move on to find other good wan tan noodle stalls already.

Just saw Eric and Shiaw Jia went for ski vacation again in Japan from Facebook. The temperature is -10 degree celsius and the sky is so blue. We are really envy them because Japan is always our dream destination. Due to the expenses are extremely expensive so we can only dream of it
But we really hope we can have our holiday at least once in our life time in Japan.
Our toilet floor tiles started to crack. The worst thing is the warranty of our house just expired. The lucky thing is we have bought additional tile for all the areas because we know some day we need to use the tile but the model might obsolete. Now we need to look for contractor to help us to change the tile. We think the price is not cheap either even we have supply of the tiles. Lets cross the fingers.
