PP came to look for me for lunch today, as we have some things to be settled at Mid Valley. We went to my usual makan place for lunch, the All Star Cafe. This cafe is located at the ground floor, just beside Swatch. I like their set lunches very much. Its served with quality and the portion is not too small either. They change their set lunch menu from time to time so that you won’t feel bored with the food over there.
Luckily they have some set lunches which is lessthanten and I’m able to introduce it here. PP ordered a curry chicken rice, which I’ve recommended to him. As for myself, I wanted to try out their fried fish with marmalade sauce. The curry chicken rice comes with two pieces of chicken, one of them is definitely the very dry breast meat. It also comes with acar, papadum and potatoes.

For my fried fish in marmalade sauce, its sweet and has a little peppery taste. Just like what I wanted. Apart from the sweetness, the fish fillets are fried until its crispy on the outside but not too dry. They also do give you a little bit of vegetable and two pieces of sweetened pineapple. Both our set lunches only costs RM9. For us who are working at mid valley, its very likely that you’ll eat every meals at about ten ringgit.
So, this is especially for those working at mid valley and have not tried all stars cafe. Do visit them and try out the set lunches. Its not that expensive, but they do serve you food with quality! Oh, not to forget, this restaurant is equipped with big tv screens for those sports lovers and they do always screen soccer matches during lunch.

Computer memory is getting cheaper and cheaper. I still remember the 1GB SD-DRR that I bought 2 years ago cost me like a bomb. However, the price now just less than RM100. If you are planning to get a computer today, make sure you are getting at least 2GB since the price is cheap and more and more applications are memory hunger. Like Dell, they are giving you 3GB memory as standard and the laptop/computer only cost you less than RM3000.
Recently I have helped my younger cousin sister bought a new Dell laptop. Can you imagine, now the standard memory for laptop is 2GB and Dell give 1GB extra for free as for PC Fair promotion. Wow!!! With 3GB of memory, no worry to run multiple applications at the same time without lagging. I have tested to run MS Work, Adobe Photoshop CS3, watching Youtube, no lag at all. I wish I can update my current 512MB laptop…. ![]()
