We’ve read a lot of blog posts on this restaurant. One day after work, PP and I have decided to give it a try, since it has a lot of good comments. From what we’ve read, this restaurant is famous for their fried chicken and nasi lemak. Wow, both are our favorites, but its a real real sinful dinner. This restaurant located at Damansara Utama, offers varieties of malay cuisine. Its operated by two chinese couple.

Some of the items in their menu are nasi lemak set, nasi dagang set, prawn noodle, assam laksa, lontong, mee rebus, soto ayam and more. We’ve ordered a set of toast bread to start with. We’ve also ordered a set of nasi lemak with fried chicken, singapore mee rebus and an extra piece of fried chicken for PP.

I like the nasi lemak very much, especially the sambal that comes with it. Its sweet and not overly spicy. Nasi lemak is very nicely cooked, its filled with the coconut milk fragrant. PP’s mee rebus is nice as well.
Fried chicken on the other hand, its crispy on the outer layer, but a little uncooked in the inside. I think we’ve already set an expectation on the fried chicken. So, after tasting it, we’re actually quite disappointed. The meat inside is quite tasteless. To us, a good fried chicken must taste good in the inside too. Especially how they marinate the inside meat. Hmm, PP said that the fried chicken at Rest. Ali Maju at Pusat Bandar Damansara tastes far better than this.
