Its been quite sometime since we’ve last had the wan tan noodles at Chow Yang, SS2. One evening after work, PP and I decided to go and try our luck if they’re still selling. Very unfortunately, they’ve finished selling and are in the middle of cleaning their stall. Wow, its only evening time and they’ve already finished selling. Gosh!

Its ok. Since we’re at that shop, we’ve ordered other food instead. This time round, we’re gonna introduce the teo chew stewed duck here. Its another famous food in this shop. Its actually stewed duck in brown sauce. The teo chew duck here is very similar to the one at PJ state. Its just that the gravy is a bit more salty in comparison.

We’ve ordered a plate of pig intestines, duck for 2 pax, bean curd and salted vegetable to be serve with rice. The rice itself is special as it is not sticky and it holds a special fragrance. As for the duck meat, it is tender and moist because it is stewed and that’s the beauty of stewed duck.

They also have other dishes to go with the duck rice. They are the mushrooms, stewed pork, gizzards, stewed egg and more. This stall operates everyday starting at around 4pm to 11pm but they are closed on alternate Wednesdays. Come try it out if you’re at this area.
