For those PJ people who favors Kajang Sate, you’re in luck! A Kajang Sate outlet is now available at Damansara Uptown. Actually, its been there for quite sometime already. Its only until now that I’m able to blog about it. I’m not a big fan of meaty stuffs. Hence, I’ll only visit this place when the mood comes.

This restaurant is called Restoran Sate Kajang HJ Samuri. It seems that this is the most famous sate restaurant operator from Kajang. Their business is huge, and they have outlets located at some expressway’s rest area. Unlike the small sticks of satay in Muar, Kajang Satay usually comes with a stick of huge meat chunks.
There’s a lot of sate variety to choose from this restaurant. They have beef, mutton, chicken, fish and other exotics like rabbit and deer meat. PP and I tried our usual satay which are beef, mutton and chicken. We also ordered something new which is the fish meat to try out. Overall, we like the chicken the best. The beef is nice too, the mutton is too tough to chew and the fish is too soft that it practically melts in your mouth.

One thing that I like about Kajang sate is the peanut dipping. Its so creamy and rich in flavor. It also comes with some chilli, for those who preferred a spicier dipping. We’ve also ordered a Nasi Goreng Pataya with Telur DaDar to share out also. Its just like any other ordinary fried rice. Anyway, if you’re a real Kajang Sate fan, its worth to come here to try it out. I’m sure you won’t be disappointed.

Went to the Original Kayu Nasi Kandar at SS2 for our dinner. Its located behind the Chow Yang’s Mee Yoke Lim. This place is famous for their nasi kandar, roti tissue, naan, tandoori chicken and more. Food here is good, certainly worth the price you’re paying. What I like most is the environment. The place is clean and its also equipped with air conditioners and huge TVs. This place is very packed during the F1 and the soccer tournament seasons.

PP ordered a nasi kandar for that night. His nasi kandar has curry chicken, cucumber, vegetable and a papadum. He asked for a mixed curry gravy for the rice. Wow, I think this place served the best nasi kandar. The chicken meat is tender soft, very nicely cooked because the meat is not too dry.
I on the other hand, ordered a maggi goreng. I actually ordered the wrong thing, I wanted indomee goreng instead. This is one of the only place that serves very nice indomee goreng. Anyway, my maggi goreng turns out to be nice too. Noodle is not too soft and its rich in taste. Comes with loads of fried onions, beancurd and vegetables.

Another thing that we like about this place is its drinks. I’ve ordered a teh-o-ais limau while PP ordered a limau suam. Unlike other mamak stalls where the drinks are lacking in flavor, Kayu Nasi Kandar certainly serves quality drinks. This place is a must for you guys to drop by to try out their nasi kandar.

Went to this cafe with my colleagues during lunch. Summer Garden Cafe is a newly opened eatery shop at Bangsar. Food served there are such as the nasi lemak, curry noodles, pan mee, daily set lunch and more. They also serve different types of dessert everyday. Its a new place for you guys to try out!
I ordered a bowl of curry noodles and a bowl of fu zuk barley and gingko for dessert. They first serve me with the curry noodles. I was surprised with the portion of it. Its a huge bowl of curry noodles and certainly worth the amount you paid for it. The curry noodle comes with dried beancurd, beansprouts and several huge chunks of curry chicken. Gravy wise, its very rich in flavor and not too spicy.

As for the desert, fu zuk barley and gingko is PP’s and my favorite. Hence, we’re quite particular with that drink. This shop’s fu zuk barley and gingko happens to meet our taste. Its rich in flavor, has lots of fu zuk and the barley in it is soft. What I like most is its sweet. Its nice. One day, I’m gonna bring PP to this cafe. So you guys at bangsar area, should drop by there to try it out!
