One of my major concern working in Damansara Height is very difficult to get non-halal food for lunch. So far, the only place got non-halal food is the restaurants behind Hock Lee Mini Market at Jalan Batai.
Today is Friday and we are allowed to wear casual to work. Normally we will go to Batai to have our lunch because this place is extremely hot and we will get wet. If with jeans and t-shirt, who care? hehe.
As usual Friday, we went to Batai for lunch, we walked there from HP Towers and reached there around 12.45pm, as usual again, a lot of people were waiting outside and looking for seat. We always wait for outside table because inside of the restorant is 2 x extremely hot. After 30 mins, we finally got our table.

1. Pork Noodle
This type of pork noodle called “San Jian Zhuang – 三间庄” in chinese. This name is taken based on the 3 ingredients they use for the bowl noodle. The ingridients are pork ball, minced pork and chinese sausage.
I ordered a dried kuey teow. This is the best “San Jian Zhuang” I have taken so far. The souce and minced pork are good in fact you can ask for more but need to add RM0.50 but worth it. I recommend you order the small portion because the big portion got too much noodle and the souce might not enough and too dry.
RM3.50 (S) RM4.00 (B)

2. Pan Mee (Flat Noodle)
My colleague ordered pan mee. To me, this is just a typical Pan Mee dish comes in soup or dry varieties (ikan bilis (anchovies), minced meat, fried onions, black fungus, Chinese mushrooms, tapioca leaves and chilli). He only ordered this everytime he come here. The reason the pan mee is so good is because the noodle not overly cooked, ikan bilis is big and crunchy, soft tapioca, and the most important is the chilli must be spicy enough.
RM3.50 (S) RM4.00 (B)

3. Barbeque Pork (Char Siew) and Roasted Pork (Siew Yok)
The mixed rice stall also selling chicken rice, barbeque and roasted pork rice. Another colleague ordered Char Siew rice and I ordered Char Siew Siew Yok to share with all. Their Char Siew an Siew Yok are great!!! because the Char Siew souce is sticky and sweet with a little bit burnt, execellent !!! For the Siew Yok, quite standard as outside, the skin is crunchy but too much of fat oil.
Char Siew Rice: RM3.50
Char Siew & Siew Yok: RM8.00
