Wanted to take something light for dinner. We’ve been eating too much of fried and fat food lately. On our way home from work last nite, we dropped by at this eatery shop (Kedai Kopi Khoong) at Seapark. Its a corner coffee shop and its quite well known to the people that’s been living around here and PJ area. A colleague of mine recommended me to this place.

We’ve decided to try out this tong shui stall. They serve all kinds of food here, eg. yam cake, fried poh piah, chee cheong fun, economy mee hoon and more. Both PP and I ordered a plate of the economy mee hoon mix with noodle. Its served with some curry sauce and fu zuk. It tastes just like the one we had during our younger days.

PP also ordered a red bean tong shui and 2 pieces of fried spring rolls for us to share. The red bean tong shui is more of a watery type. I would actually prefer it to be a little thicker and richer in taste. As for the spring rolls, it crunchy and tasty. PP loves it the most. It comes with sweet sauce and some chili sauce for dipping. Very fast selling too. Must be there early if you would like to try it out.
