I’m still catching up on my weekend posts. Again, another back dated post. Went to 1Utama for Shrek 3 on last Saturday. Shrek 3 is so - so, not that good as compared to part 1 and 2. Think they’re running out of jokes dy.

PP and I went to ” Shihlin Taiwan Street Snacks ” to grab some snacks before heading home. Its situated at the second floor of the old wing, just outside the TGV cinema. The size of this shop is only half the size of a normal shoplot at 1Utama. With the amount of people dining in there, its a very cramped place and a stuffy too with all their food frying. Once you sit down there, you have to be quick with your orders. Payment is made right after order is taken.

We’ve had too much of junk food during the movies, so we didn’t order much this time round. We’ve ordered a taiwan mee-suah and a crispy fried chicken to share. The crispy chicken is special and very different from any of the fried chickens you get from outside. Its almost boneless, so its very easy to eat. Best to eat when its hot and crunchy.

The taiwan mee suah or also known as oyster mee suah comes in a thick soup, oysters and shredded chicken. For better taste, there’s also sambal and parsley. Its recommended that you eat this mee suah with the spoon only. Apart from this, they also sell other snacks such as seafood tempura and crispy egg floss. Should give it a try.
