Fell sick again on last monday. Sore throat and flu again. Could it be from the sze chuan “ma la” steamboat that I had with my girl friends on the previous night? PP said he only took one vegetable from that spicy hot pot and his mouth went numb with it. Wow.
PP brought me our usual clinic at Damansara Utama. Since its near lunch time, we went to this teochew fishball noodle shop which is a few shops away from the clinic. Soup noodle is good enough since the doc said that I can’t take any spicy or fried food at the moment.

PP ordered a dry version and I got myself a soup kuey teow. Both our noodles came with thin slices of fish cake, a few fishballs and some veggie. We’ve ordered extra bitter gourd and tofu. PP’s dry noodles comes with minced meat in it too.
As for my soup noodles, I can say that it is a healthy food. Especially for sick people like me. The soup is rather plain and nice, not much of MSG. You’ll know it because you don’t drink much water after eating the noodles.

For drinks, PP ordered his usual barley fu zuk and I ordered a lime juice (kum kat). PP strongly recommends their barley fu zuk. Its just nice, not too thick with barley and it has bits of fu zuk that you can bite on. He liked it so much that he ordered another pack of that drink to bring home. Will recommend this shop to those who wants to have light and healthy food.
