Sarawak handmade noodle is cooked dry, and mixed with a little soya sauce. Its served with minced meat, vegie, fried dumpling, few pieces of char siew and topped with chopped spring onion. They’ll also give you a bowl of clear soup just in case that you felt that the noodle is too dry.

We first tried this noodle at Sunway NTS foodcourt. The stall at Ming Tien, Taman Megah, is actually the very same stall that we had last time at Sunway. Guess they’ve decided to move to a better location. This handmade noodle seems quite healthy to me. Overall, the noodle is not too salty and not too oily either. Its a light meal, best taken during dinner.

Last Thursday, PP and his colleagues went to this Penang Loh Mee at Desa Sri Hartamas. Its a shop located at an open car park, next to the Projet petrol station and opposite True Fitness. If you take your lunch there, the car park fee is free of charge. In a way, this shop is quite special because the they only serve one type of food each day.

It also comes with sliced thin pieces of meat, stewed hard boiled egg, prawns and sprinkled with fried onions. One of his colleague have sampled their loh mee and prawn noodle. Ming Tien foodcourt at Taman Megah, is just next to the futsal building. It has about 20-30 food stalls and the food prices here are very reasonable. They also provide free wi-fi internet access there. Went there for dinner last night.

We’ve ordered ourselves a plate of fried snacks. The mix fried platter consists of mushroom, lychee, banana, tou fu and pineapple. It also comes with two types of sauces for dipping, specially made thai chilli sauce and also honey. Its a very special and refreshing plate of snack, coz this is the first time that we’ve actually ate fried fruit. We love the fried lychee and banana the most.

Apart from what we’ve ordered, they also do sell penang chee cheong fun. The stall is located just next to the stall that sells fishball noodle. It’s labelled with “fried mushroom” and “penang chee cheong fun”. Its also recommended by our famous 8TV programme, Ho Chiak.
