Wanted to grab some quick brunch before going to the K9 Olympic Day at 1Utama’s park. So, we’ve agreed with KC to meet up at SS2’s Restaurant Lorong Seratus Tahun. From my understanding, this shop is operated by two sons of the original stall at Penang. Basically this restaurant serves most of the popular Penang food, eg. fried kuey-teow, curry noodle, lo bak, etc.

PP ordered a fried kuey-teow while I ordered a curry noodle. For those that likes the “wok” taste in their fried kuey-teow, I will recommend them this. I personally preferred the Muar version of fried kuey-teow instead. Why? Hehe… becoz its sweet of course. But PP says this fried kuey-teow tastes good too. It’s just different kind of cooking style.
As for my curry noodle, I’ve ordered it without the “coagulated blood”. The Penang curry noodle is actually quite different. I think its the amount of santan that they put in it. The Penang version’s soup is not that thick as compared to the rest. This is also recommended, especially those who likes Penang food.
