The famous nasi lemak antarabangsa from kampung baru is now available at bangsar. I’ve heard of this famous nasi lemak for umpteen times. Now, we have the chance to try it out without having to travel all the way to Kampung Baru.

We’ve decided to go try it out on one dinner. The restaurant is very nicely decorated, before going there, we’ve actually imagined dining at a mamak stall. Reaching there, we’re presented with the menu. From what we see, every dish is priced from RM2.50 and above.
We’ve ordered 2 plates of plain nasi lemak and our usual side dishes. They are the sambal sotong, sambal kerang and ayam goreng berempah. The plain nasi lemak comes with sambal, hard boiled egg, cucumber, anchovies and groundnuts. The sambal is sweet, and we like it very much.

Overall, the dishes are not overall spicy. The fried chicken is coated with a layer of spiced batter. You’ll get the fragrant once you bite into it. As for the drinks, I wouldn’t recommend their ice lemon tea, it tastes exactly like those bottled syrup, not fresh at all.

There’s another nice place for hokkien noodles, if you are a big fan of it. This shop is located at Sea Park. They use charcoal fire to cook this, and its served with banana leaf. Does it already sound yummy to you?

This hokkien noodles has pork liver, prawn and vegetable with it. This is PP’s recent favorite stall. I am rather particular about hokkien noodles because they’re often cook until too soft. This stall however, is different. Its cooked well, not too salty and noodles are not to soggy.
My cantonese fried noodle, tastes only ordinary. What I like about this noodle is only because of the pork liver. If you would like to eat a nice cantonese fried noodle, I would suggest the foodcourt at Ara Damansara instead. Some day, we will blog about the stall at Ara Damansara.
Now back to this one at Sea Park, they started as a small stall selling cantonese noodles, hokkien noodles and fried rice. Now, they’ve expanded to selling grill fish and other dishes as well. Some of their signature dishes are curry fish head, king spare ribs, ginger chicken and more. Hop on over to find out wats more over there.

Still at section 17, this is our favorite stall among all! This stall serves steam and roasted chicken, roast duck roast pork, char siew, and occasionally herbal chicken too. I like their rice, its has this very nice fragrant and its soft.
I like to go there on Tuesdays because that’s when they serve the Herbal Chicken, or better known as Paper Wrapped Chicken by the stall owner. The herbal smell is so strong, you can even smell it from feets away. PP on the other hand, ordered his usual roasted duck and char siew. We especially like the chilli from this stall as it doesn’t have the garlic smell in it. I think they’ve used ginger to make it instead. This meal is especially nice if you ask some char siew gravy to go with the rice. Yummy!
